"Backwoods Housing" by Lori Sutphin

A dear friend of mine, who enjoys photography, sends me photos from time to time. This is one of his that I painted. I loved the soft fall colors and the textures of the bark of the tree, the weathered wood of the birdhouse and the color of the leaves. And my friend even built the birdhouse. Some of the leaves and limbs of the tree have been painted onto the mat also.
