To support and promote artists of Floyd County and the surrounding area, and contribute to the creative arts culture of Floyd by providing a downtown, professional setting that fosters creativity, quality art and interaction between artists, patrons and the community.
Floyd is an eclectic and diverse environment of artists, musicians, outdoor enthusiasts, farmers of all genres and other interesting entrepreneurs. Known for our wineries, music festivals and art venues, we entice visitors from around the world. Floyd Artists Association LLC was formed in 2007 by a core group of six artist friends in the friendly one-stoplight town of Floyd, VA. In 2018, we reorganized the business and became A NEW LEAF GALLERY, realizing the need to expand and offer our talented local art to the online community. We've grown steadily over the past decade, always working together collectively to showcase quality local art while encouraging and giving opportunity to new and established artists alike with featured shows, First Friday events, and classes. A long-time supporter of the local high school art programs, we also hold ongoing and yearly fund raising events to assist our talented youth and their teachers.
ALL ROADS LEAD TO FLOYD! At the crossroads of VA-8 and VA-221, it's a scenic and pleasurable drive up the mountain, whether you are traveling from the Roanoke Valley, New River Valley or from North Carolina or our eastern shores.
