"Icy Pine on Draper Mountain" by Joe Rees - Photography

 “Icy Pine on Draper Mountain” would make a great gift because it is a Christmas Tree (provided by nature) to be enjoyed year round.  The simple strength of this little tree on the top of a mountain in the most severe conditions is an inspiration whenever you take the time to look at it.

This photographic image is printed using Epson UltraChrome inks on Epson Exhibition Canvas.  A 100% rag mat board is glued (using neutral pH glue) to a 1/2” plywood backer; the canvas is then mounted to the mat board using the same neutral pH glue.  A satin varnish formulated for the UltraChrome Inks is applied to the canvas prior to framing.  The frame is hand crafted by the photographer using locally harvested poplar painted in a “Hunt Club Green” with a satin finish.
