"Banjo Ballad" by Bronwen Valentine - Reproduction

"Banjo Ballad" is the latest in my instrument portrait series. The banjo is iconic in Appalachian music. The tunes played on it contain elements of the African, Irish and Scottish songs of its origins. Folk tales tell us the banjo's unique sound is the voice of our mountains, the fire of its music warms the heart and moves the body.
