Join us in welcoming our newest Guest Artists Debby Freed, clay artist, and Lucy Goldberg, painter and storyteller

A New Leaf Gallery invites you to our First Friday Reception, November
4th, 5-7pm. Meet our two new Guests, a perfect duo for this end-of-year,
holiday season. Lucy Goldberg and Debby Freed are sure to bring smiles
and stir your imagination. Lucy paints intriguing magical stories with a fairy
tale flavor, and Debby is skilled at bringing her delightful animals to life in
clay. Our Guests will be exhibiting with us November thru December.

Debby Freed is excited to be invited back as a visiting artist at A New Leaf Gallery.  She lives in Montgomery County, VA with her dog, cat, goose, and chickens, and does her clay work from her basement studio, which has a lovely view of her the chicken run and her neighbors’ donkeys. Her whimsical pieces are all hand built, using slab, pinch, coil, and other hand building tech.

Lucy Goldberg paints her inspirations from magical dreams and past lives,
from old fairy tales, and from the songs of the wood thrush and river music.
Lucy lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains where she paints, writes stories and
poetry, plays music, gardens, and hikes the green forests and indigo
mountains.

across from the Floyd Country Store in Floyd, VA. The Gallery is an artist
staffed gallery offering a unique array of fine art, jewelry, sculptures, and
high quality crafts created by local artists. Hours: Wednesday - Saturday
