"Where I find Peace II" by Selena Doolittle McColley - Acrylic

A second painting in what may become a "finding Peace" series, this is an original acrylic on canvas. "I find peace in "green space" and especially if there is water. The play of light on the trees and water first caught my attention. The reflections in the water, particularly the sky is arresting. The water here is very shallow and you can see that if you look closely at the water in the rock's reflection. That isn't the rock reflections there, but the sunlight peeking through in spots and highlighting the rocks under the water's surface. This one was great fun to paint!"
